Naomi Denning is Towers Watson’s Managing Director, Investment AP, with overall responsibility for the company's investment team in the Asia-Pacific region. She was previously regional head of Investment Consulting for Watson Wyatt in Asia Pacific, prior to the merger of Watson Wyatt and Towers Perrin in 2010.
Naomi joined Watson Wyatt in 1994 to manage the Investment Consulting practice in the Hong Kong office. In November 1996, Naomi became a Director of Watson Wyatt Hong Kong Limited and also the Head of Investment Consulting for the Asia-Pacific region including Greater China. Her responsibilities include client consulting on a wide range of issues, for example:
Mission and Governance
Investment policy and objectives based on asset liability modelling,
The selection of investment managers,
Investment reviews such as reviewing benchmark and investment management structure, and
Performance monitoring and detailed portfolio analysis.
Naomi has extensive experience working with clients throughout Asia on investment matters, including Hong Kong, Macau, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, China and Australia.
Naomi chairs the Asia-Pacific Inclusion and Diversity Council at Towers Watson focused on creating an inclusive work environment which provides opportunities for associates with diverse opinions and experiences to come together and work toward better client solutions.
Prior to moving to Hong Kong, she spent five years working as an Asset Consultant for Mercer, one of the major actuarial firms in the UK, and one year working on investment management projects with CSFB and County Natwest fund management organisations in Australia.
Naomi received a BSc. (Hons.), degree in Mathematics & Sports Science from Loughborough University of Technology (1987). She also completed her Executive MBA with Kellogg/HKUST, graduating in June 2009. Naomi’s professional qualifications and affiliations include:
Associate member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals, which was formed in August 2000 as a result of the merger of the Institute of Investment Management and Research (IIMR) and the London Society of Investment Professionals (LSIP).

MPF Intermediary, registered with the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority in Hong Kong.
Naomi is the member of The FTSE Asia Pacific Regional Committee (since 2000). She was a member of the Hang Seng Index Committee for 10 years from 2002 to 2012.
In May 2009, Naomi was recognized as one of the Top 25 most influential people in asset management in Asia by the Asian Investor magazine.
